This Role
You are excited about driving business value through the design of experiments in collaboration with a variety of teams (such as product, operations, marketing, risk) across a variety of channels. We have basic tools in place to assign customers to different experimental groups and you will develop and iterate the processes that we can use to run and interpret our experiments.
You are excited to be a part of an early-stage data science team shaping the future of many aspects of data science at PayJoy. You are eager to leverage your experience in experimental design to lay the foundations of our data science experimentation practices that will allow us to confidently make recommendations to business partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to translate business questions into experiments that you can run and interpret
• Develop standardized end-to-end processes to propose, document, set up, start, monitor and close an experiment
• Work with stakeholders to determine appropriate metrics to track balancing business value against time to making a decision

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in designing and interpreting results from experiments in consumer products
• 5+ years of industry experience primarily working with data (for example as a data scientist, software engineer or other technical role)
• Fluent in SQL, proficient in Python and comfortable with dashboarding tools like Mode
• Bachelor's degree or higher with a focus in a field of science, engineering or mathematics
