Senior Software Engineer, Autonomy Vehicles Software Tools (C++/Qt)

The Team

Our AV Tools team is a group of software engineers creating an innovative software framework so that our autonomous vehicle researchers and software engineers can build their own tools for testing and visualizing vehicle performance.. The framework is written in C++ currently running on desktop using Qt. Our goal is to port it to web technologies so it can run on any browser.

Team members are versatile with some team members contributing to web based visualization and others contributing to C++ and Qt.

This team will regularly interact with various teams with robotics-specific domain knowledge including motion planning, controls, and machine learning, picking up experience and knowledge in those areas.

As we scale this team, we are looking for either strong front end web skills or C++/Qt.  Typically software development includes 80% of team members day-to-day; while design and architecture decisions are responsibilities depending on level.

We need a highly motivated individual, passionate about writing elegant, scalable, and robust code.
