We are seeking a motivated Senior Manager, Data Management within our Research Analysis and Data (RAD) team. You would be a dynamic leader who will lead the Data Management team for Evidation’s Research & Insights programs and you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, contextualized data to our internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will manage a cross-functional team consisting of functional expertise in analytics engineering, study data monitoring, data quality, and data delivery to clients. The right candidate will partner with technical leads and manage a team of experienced individual contributors that own the data deliverables for client projects to ensure they meet client expectations and deadlines. This person will help define our data product roadmap, proactively plan for functional team staffing, and provide guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams. They will have a strong sense of collective ownership and accountability towards delivering quality studies and data products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Study Leadership and Product Vision

  • Partner with our Commercial team, Product team, and relevant Technical Lead to develop our products involving data delivery to our health care customers.
  • Collaborate with our Clinical Operations team and relevant Technical Lead to develop our reports and dashboards for monitoring the health of studies.
  • Work closely with our Quality & Regulatory team and relevant Technical Leads to ensure a high-level of quality for any data we work with in our end-to-end pipeline.
  • Responsible for the data management deliverables including data delivery, data monitoring, reports and dashboards, and data validation.
  • Identify and address process inefficiencies to ensure high-quality, on-time, and customer-oriented deliverables.

Team Development

  • Manage the cross-functional members of the data management team by providing coaching and feedback to improve professional skills like prioritization, time management, capacity planning, autonomy, and self-driven professional development.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to work through volatile timelines, uncertain business requirements, complex systems, and ambiguous requirements.
  • Help members of the data management team develop their skills and engage with the health care community through conferences, panels, and industry events

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of industry experience (or comparable education experience in a relevant field) in the field of data management
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical team members
  • Experience in at least one of the following functional areas: Analytics Engineering, Software Validation, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 year of experience managing a cross-functional team
  • At least 5 years of experience within the field of biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with customer-oriented product development with agile iterations
  • Knowledge of organizational behavior activities to foster a fulfilling team culture
