We are seeking a Director of Data Operations who is self motivated, results oriented, skilled at change management, with a track record of driving an exceptional customer experience. In this position, you will be responsible for scaling our data operations processes and systems, guided by customer needs and our long term data roadmap.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, experienced in scaling up operations, and be obsessed with processes that lead to data quality outcomes and continuous process improvement.

What You Will Accomplish?

• Audit & document our current Data Collection, Data Cleaning, Data Storage, and Data Delivery process & metrics in an easily consumable and regularly reportable format
• Create a strategy to scale our Data Operations, including exploring new techniques & technologies that can deliver substantial growth & acceleration of our data roadmap
• Develop a data quality roadmap that includes establishing a baseline of data quality performance milestones and a plan to deliver incremental improvements
• Design and implement frameworks and standard processes across all aspects of data operations and delivery
• Establish a high performing team that delivers on time while maintaining high quality data outcomes for our customers
• Work closely with Product Managers and Data Engineering team to refine our data strategy, align with business goals and product vision, and execute on our data roadmap
• Management and oversight of Associates, Analysts, and Team Leads, including career progression, performance management, mentoring, and coaching sessions
• Engaged in customer escalations and data issues, and ensure response times and data quality standards are being met
• Lead and inspire a team of data professionals to provide integrated data architectures, consistent data delivery, and robust data governance program with data quality monitoring and operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Director-level role within a data-oriented, software-based company
• Change Management Leadership – Able to lead and drive change in a cross-functional group with an ability to assess impacts, plan communications and implement strategies
• Ideally 10+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams of employees; demonstrated leadership through accountability, continuous learning and improvement
• Prior leadership experience in a similar operations environment involving data collection, delivery, data management and operational reporting
• Experience in data mining, data governance, data strategy and analytics is preferred but not required
• Proven ability to analyze historical data and future forecast to perform capacity planning and implement resource scheduling to meet customer delivery demands
• Detail-oriented individual who also has the ability to think and plan strategically
• Effective organizational, presentation, process documentation, analytical, project management, training, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Experience establishing and growing a remote, onshore, or offshore operating team
