DUTIES:        

The Senior Data Engineer’s responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Architect and implement the ETL process to centralize the data in one location;
  2. Set up and manage business intelligence solutions as part of the data warehouse;
  3. Develop and deploy data platform tools that enable the analytics teams to move faster and build better products;
  4. Collaborate with analytics, engineering and dev ops team to establish the best practices in ETL deployment;
  5. Partner with client’s data teams to give them secure access to their data

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s deg in a technical discipline, Computer Science or Engineering;
  2. Five years of experience as a Software Engineer;
  3.  Experience building data lakes, ETL pipelines, and organizing/cleaning data for analytics;
  4. Strong understanding of SQL, experience with key databases such as Snowflake/Redshift,
    MySQL, MongoDB, etc.;
  5. Understanding of data modeling best practices - Star Schemas, Kimball, etc.;
  6.  Experience building data platform tools with Python in collaboration with data science or
    machine learning teams;
  7. Experience building and scaling non-relational databases, preferably MongoDB;
  8. Experience working with large datasets and building data pipelines from cloud solutions
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
  9. Opportunity to work from home, anywhere in the United States

SALARY: $191,000 per annum
