The expected salary range for this position is $99,800.00 - $124,750.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview

This senior analyst produces complex People & Culture, human resources, operational, effectiveness and labor market intelligence data by discovering and querying major repositories and other sources. The analyst demonstrates a curiosity and passion for data as she or he interprets data, formulates reports and makes significant recommendations based upon the research findings. This effort requires the application of qualitative and quantitative techniques, including predictive analysis, to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. The analyst further devises methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. This is a highly skilled professional who serves as an expert analyst on major, critical research and strategic initiatives. Further, he or she often coaches and oversees the work of other analysts and related staff.

What will you do?

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Conducts in-depth data review using traditional and advanced methods, including extremely complex statistical techniques, and performs complex analyses and prepares forecasts and recommendations in areas such as employee life cycle enhancements, recruitment, retention and People & Culture operations.
  • Mines research data from available internal sources, industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources with employee lifecycle or effectiveness strategy and business result implications. Further tests are conducted or coordinated to ensure that data is valid and consistent with defined needs.
  • Works with senior management to formulate major analysis plans and designing or developing complex questionnaires, tests, research plans, and other guides to ensure the necessary data is captured to perform an actionable analysis and recommendation.
  • Based on predictive analytics, empirical research and analysis findings and conclusions, authors major reports profiling and predicting outcomes related to the People & Culture domain for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders, involving making live presentations, answering questions, and instilling confidence in stakeholders.
  • Maintains or cooperates in the maintenance of business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods, including the creation or review of technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
  • Provides technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs, as well as maintain a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
  • Coaches and provides expertise and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the business intelligence discipline.

What do you bring?

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering or a related field.
  • Ten years relevant experience conducting statistical analysis in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS.
  • Strong data visualization experience (Tableau experience preferred)
  • Preferred experience with Workday report writing and Workday Prism
  • Preferred experience with data management and SQL
