Head of Data, Analytics, and Business Intelligence

What You'll Do· Establish, own, and evangelize the central data strategy across the organization, aligning it with the technology and product strategies and vision to build innovative offerings and transform the business.· Lead business intelligence and analytics platforms to provide value-driven actionable insights both at a strategic and operational level using existing and new data sources and techniques.· Develop and execute a roadmap for data delivery, data management, and data insights including data warehousing, structured, and unstructured data while keeping short-term and long-term goals in mind.· Create process and governance for data and analytics functions that clearly define ownership and responsibilities between the central data function and functional teams.· Collaborate with senior leaders, Product, Innovation, Technology, Marketing, and Sales to align current priorities and to guide and maintain a holistic vision and strategy for future data and analytics.· Lead, build and mentor a team of BI/Data Analysts, Data Architects, and Data Engineers to deliver high-quality data services and insights, supporting the team to achieve their professional goals.
What You'll Need· Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA) or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Math, etc.· 8+ years of solid experience working with various data and analytics platforms, cloud technologies, and tools including Tableau, Oracle, SnapLogic, Snowflake, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Python, etc.· 5+ years of experience building, leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Data Architects, Data Engineers, BI Analysts.· Comfortable being a thought-leader as well as a key support resource for the organization.· Self-starter and motivated individual who takes ownership and accountability seriously.· Customer obsession.· Vision and drive to lead and pursue a BI data strategy, working within constraints as well as pushing our capabilities to do things for the first time.· Natural curiosity to dig into the details, find and surface insights, and report them out to the enterprise.· Prior experience in building data platforms to support AI-driven products is a plus.Business Wire will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Business Wire is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
