Responsibilities
- As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take ownership of individual platform components and help set the vision and architecture for it. In the process, you will identify the requirements of new features, and propose design and drive the solution.
- Design and develop programs and tools to support ingestion, curation and provisioning of complex enterprise data to achieve analytics, reporting, and data science
- Demonstrate open minded and collaborative approach to creating innovative technical solutions
- Continuously learn to maintain strong knowledge of technology enablers
- Provide successful deployment and provisioning of data solutions to production or other required environments.
- Analyze complex technical problems and is expected to recommend process improvements that address complex technology gaps within a single business process and improve data reliability, quality, and efficiency
- Deep Expertise in SQL-Server, TSQL, ADF, ETL tools, DW Design.
- Cloud technologies and operations: Azure, ADLS, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hub etc.
- 2-5 years’ experience with any enterprise programming language (C#, Java, Python, Scala)
- Machine Learning Ops: infrastructure, architecture, systems, operations supporting machine-learning projects
- Data as a Service, Distributed computing, Kubernetes, Docker, micro-services will be a plus.
- Web development, dashboards, visualization, monitoring.
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau.
- Code review, testing
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional data engineering experience
- B.S or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Highly proficient in data engineering languages and tools, and strong proficiency in general programming languages and frameworks; ability to develop on multiple platforms.
- Extensive understanding of agile data engineering concepts and processes, such as CICD, pipelines, and iterative development and deployments
- Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, code structure, and version control with git.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and efforts to improve code efficiency and scalability.
- Passionate and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
- Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills
