The Opportunity
The Globalization Team at Adobe is actively seeking a talented Globalization Engineer with 2-3 years of experience focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML). In this role, you will play a vital role in advancing the internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) efforts of Adobe Experience Cloud products, all while harnessing the potential of AI technologies. You will also be involved in transformative initiatives to include Generative AI features in Adobe’s localization workflows. We are looking for an individual with a profound interest in different languages and cultures, coupled with the technical expertise to transform this passion into world-class, globally accessible software. You will be an integral part of our geographically distributed team with members spanning the United States, India, and Europe, requiring effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
What you'll Do
- Conduct research in AI/LLM/NLP to develop innovative GenAI features for Adobe's international customers.
- Partner with Adobe DX teams to design, develop, and deploy GenAI features catering to global audiences.
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems for integrating Generative AI features in localization workflows.
- Conduct experiments to improve multilingual support in LLM-based product features.
- Optimize prompts and responses to enhance the effectiveness of LLM-generated content across non-English contexts.
- Assess and improve Machine Translation quality through standard industry metrics.
- Contribute to both the research and productization of ML models, ensuring robust and scalable implementations.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
- Excellent programming skills in Python with strong fundamentals in programming, optimizations, and software design.
- Solid understanding of ML/DL techniques, algorithms, and tools with exposure to CNN, RNN (LSTM), Transformers (BERT, BARD, GPT/T5, LLMs).
- Hands-on experience with conversational AI technologies like Natural Language Understanding, Natural Language Generation, Dialog systems, Information retrieval and Question and Answering, Machine Translation, Video Understanding etc.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Experience in conducting ML research and applying research outcomes to real-world applications.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated to drive new innovative initiatives and continuously learn new skills.
- Solid knowledge/experience with at least one foreign language.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Familiarity with GPU-based technologies like CUDA, CuDNN, and TensorRT.
- Familiarity with speech and video processing algorithms.
- Experience with deploying ML models in production environments and optimizing them for performance.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
