About the opportunity:
Data analysts at Contentsquare help clients understand the actions and behaviors that users are performing on their websites through analysis of user journeys, session-level metrics (time spent, conversions, activity), and in-page behaviours (clicks, hovers, scrolls etc). We’re looking for someone with a passion for data and an“interest in digital user experiences. We work with a large portfolio of high-profile clients so you will gain unparalleled, first-hand experience in digital business strategies for a wide range of companies.
Being a data analyst requires a combination of technical, analytical skills, as well as consulting and client-facing skills. Within the technical skillset, knowledge of statistics, mathematics, SQL/database-querying, Excel, Python, and general abilities in making sense of big data are extremely valuable. Within the client-facing, consulting skillset, we’re looking for a candidate comfortable in presenting and talking through data with clients, and an ability to construct logical, convincing narratives from data.
You will work within the Professional Services team, managed by a Lead Data Analyst who will be responsible for your onboarding and training. Analyzing is a team effort, and you will be working closely with our UX/UI designers, and Customer Success Managers on projects. These projects will give you the opportunity to build and develop something completely new that could be used by our business to improve our ability, and our client’s ability to derive insights from the data.

Data Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored services to our clients 
  • Gather your client’s business questions and think of impactful and creative ways to answer them with data
  • Build full UX analysis reports using raw data and data extracted from Contentsquare 
  • Present the analysis in front of clients 
  • Be an identified expert of Contentsquare and Contentsquare data 
  • Perform exploratory analysis to find opportunities for new features 
  • Innovate and contribute to Product evolution (Spec definition, prioritization of the roadmap, suggestion of improvements …)
  • Be a touchpoint regarding insight generation & data reliability for internal resources (Customer Success, Product team, R&D…)
  • Innovate and build new analysis methodologies and data visualizations 

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for data, numbers, and statistics
  • Capacity to operate independently by being thorough and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically challenging, data-driven environment
  • SQL experience
  • Experience with data visualizations and telling stories using data
  • Business-oriented and a consultative-approach with clients

What Makes You Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • A successful professional experience in eCommerce, Analytics, A/B testing, or Data-oriented businesses
  • A degree in Business / Engineering / Statistics / Data mining / Hard sciences or equivalent
  • Python or coding experience
