Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Director of Data Architecture role to join our growing analytics capability (ARIS) at INSAGIC. The Associate Director of Data Architecture is responsible for defining information management and analytical needs, data architecture requirements, solution design, delivery, quality assurance functions, along with initial build, ongoing management, maintenance, documentation and expansion of the data and information management infrastructure.

The Associate Director of Data Architecture will help shape the vision of healthcare informatics strategy, formulates and administers information management policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Enables cross-functional synergies across business units, managing outsourcing relationships, and coordinating with leadership team to develop solutions that effectively meet current and future information management needs of Publicis Health, as well as identifies opportunities to leverage and align analytical capabilities to further advance data-driven marketing strategies.

The Associate Director of Data Architecture will be responsible for incorporating a variety of external healthcare datasets into the Health Labs environment, from helping to initially assess the datasets all the way to on-boarding and making sure they are ready for analytics. 

Expectations of this role:

  • Working closely with the executive leadership team and partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders to ensure the alignment of data and technology to achieve the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Set the vision for a multi-year, strategic roadmap with the goal of building and implementing best-in-class data-driven solutions to support current and planned business needs. 
  • Attract and build a high-performance team with diverse and complementary skills that are relevant to the strategic roadmap.
  • Provide guidance on exploiting healthcare data sources - referencing data sets and classification systems such as NDC, ATC, RxNorm, SNOMED, ICD, and others, as well as transactional data assets such as pharmacy claims, professional claim, EHR, and other data as may be included to meet business needs – and utilization to provide differentiating insights to the clients.
  • Define and set standards for clinical/healthcare data governance, integration, decision-support, data access, data management, analytics, quality, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement data security policies and best practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA/HITECH requirements and other applicable regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Create framework for evaluating and making data sourcing decisions and creating scalable vendor management processes.
  • Prioritize tasks as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and management of core data assets.
  • Oversee inventory, documentation, and cataloging of data assets and assure full lifetime cycle value is achieved, including coordination with key business and product stakeholders.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging standards and technologies.
  • Coordinate and consult with third-party vendors as required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering is required; master’s degree a strong plus
  • 8-10 years of professional hands-on experience
  • Ability to successfully manage and deliver a wide variety of data infrastructure solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to on-board and validate complex data assets
  • Demonstrate ability to lead with ambiguity & evolving business needs
  • Ability to multitasking with proper prioritization
  • Operate with agile methods & frameworks – preferred
  • Understanding of data privacy best practices/HIPAA compliance and security of data in use

Additional Information

Compensation Range:  $106,500 - $179,000 annually.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
