Function Overview

Chief Data Office is the Group Central Data and Analytics arm that works closely with the Group Businesses and Group Corporate functions to enable the execution Nomura Group Strategy through Robust Data Standards & Governance, Actionable Performance Metrics & MIS, and High Impact Information and Analytics Products and Solution.

Job Purpose:

Solution Engineer analyst to work as part of a team to design, develop and deploy ML Solutions (includes LLM model implementation) on Cloud & Non-Cloud Technology to address business needs, optimize processes and reducing manual work.  

Person should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop / Implement ML base solutions.
• Defining, designing and developing solutions using python programming to ingest data onto Snowflake
• Ability to work across different groups and regions.
• Self-driven and motivated

Qualification & Core Skills requirement:

• 2+ years of proven experience in design, develop and implement ML solutions.
• Experience in Vectorization
• Person should have an experience in RAG base implementation.
• Proficient in Python language & other analytic languages
• Strong analytical skill with engineering mindset
• Experience in ML Flow integration
• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech
• Problem-solving aptitude and strong appetite for innovation and emerging technology
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
