Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. You will help us shape and evolve how we provide value to our users, by building systems that connect users with the content, tools, and other resources that best suit their needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and deploy production ML models for recommendation, personalization, and other focus areas
• Be a key member of the Anaconda Nucleus Engagement team
• Contribute to team meetings / discussions (sprint reviews, planning, etc)
• Work with other teams to coordinate joint deliverables
• Work with the entire team to ensure the highest level of product quality
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Review PRs, contribute to engineering and product discussions
• Work on designing the consumer-facing Nucleus platform 
  

What You Need:

• 6+ years of experience designing and building machine learning systems in an iterative fashion, from the ground up
• Experience building, fine-tuning, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models
• Experience building streaming machine learning pipelines
• Experience working with big data and distributed computing
• Significant experience with the Python machine learning ecosystem, SQL, and other widely used modern ML tools such as PyTorch
• Natural Language Processing experience
• Text processing, classification, topic modeling, etc
• Understand transformer models
• Experience building recommendation, personalization, and predictive systems based on user behavior / preferences
• Exposure to data engineering processes such as data extraction, transformation, cleaning, enrichment, etc
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders and other team members with diverse backgrounds and skillsets
• A passion for building user-centric product features, leveraging machine learning paradigms
