Armorblox, Inc. is recruiting for our Sunnyvale, CA office: Chief Data Architect:
Architect, design and develop overall Armorblox architecture and its associated components using highly available, distributed systems delivered on a cloud-native platform. Innovate and expand Armorblox's Intellectual Properties through software practices, design and development. Build and maintain data pipelines that power Armorblox's Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning (DL) and Machine Learning (ML) platforms. Work closely with different cross-functional stakeholders and teams including data scientists, data engineers, product engineers and leaders to understand, influence and develop the entire lifecycle of ML models and other data science artifacts, data platforms and applications built by Armorblox. Plan, architect, and guide delivery of critical, complex applications developed using data stores, data warehouses, distributed big data platforms, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) platforms by applying ML, DL, NLP, NLU techniques. Ensure production readiness from multiple aspects including supportability, resilience, reliability, security, privacy and several other perspectives of all data driven applications on Armorblox platforms. Design, develop and enforce standards for relational and non-relational database design and development best practices, and design tools to enforce these practices at scale. Continuously evaluate current trends in the data technology space and provide recommendations on best practices and new/differentiating capabilities, including active vendor engagement and product roadmap review and feedback. Mentor other Architects and Technical Leaders in the team.
Education and Experience Required: • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Networking or a related field and 60 months of experience. Job code #38932 must be referenced when applying to this position.
