Business Analyst (Data Architecture)

We at Advian are now looking for a Finnish-speaking Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities consists of helping our clients to better utilize data. We want to offer the world’s best experts the job of their dreams. That’s why we modestly aim for a 50-point Employee Net Promoter Score, which we measure every month.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Business Analyst, preferably with some experience in the industry of insurance, finance or energy. Whether you are a more experienced senior or someone with a little less experience and the right attitude to take over the role, the position can be adjusted according to your experience.

In this role you act as a translator between the business and the IT function, ensuring that both parties understand each other. Your main responsibility is to help our clients to utilize their data better. Your day-to-day tasks consist of e.g., requirement definition, workshop facilitation, data modelling, process modelling, project management and roadmap planning.

In order to thrive in this role, you should most importantly be strongly business-orientated and have great communication skills in both Finnish and English. We also hope that you are a socially talented person who enjoys interacting with different stakeholders such as the business people with little to no knowledge of technology as well as the most skilled technical architects.

Previous experience from consulting will definitely help you to prosper in this position. Some experience on sales can also be beneficial as in this position you will also actively follow any opportunities to expand the team. In addition to the above-mentioned, we’re jumping for joy if you have good knowledge of the data management principles as well as the business possibilities related to AI and machine learning.

• Espoo, Tampere or remotely from anywhere else in Finland
• However, we hope that you are prepared to occasionally travel within Finland

We would fit each other perfectly if 

• You have a couple of years’ experience from managing data as well as client consulting
• You are experienced in requirements specification and agile project management
• You have excellent communication and facilitation skills in both Finnish and English
• You have a good understanding of the data driven business and the AI/ML -related possibilities
• You have some experience from the industry of insurance, finance, or energy
