Marketing Operations at Jamf supports go-to-market teams through the core functions of technology, data analytics, and program measurement. This includes the creation, management, and ongoing support for growing Martech tools and data creation systems. The Marketing Data Engineer I is an integral member of the Marketing Operations team, responsible for implementing data management systems and tools to increase overall data quality and usage. This role will collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to integrate APIs, manage data collection processes, build custom data pipelines, generate materialized views, and automate analytics reporting. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with go-to-market stakeholders to develop and improve the current marketing data architecture, quality, and reportability
- Design and implement solutions to automatically extract, transform, and load data sets where needed
- Generate and maintain complex, disparate data sets to support marketing and sales analytics functions
- Engineer repeatable, scalable data solutions that analysts and stakeholders can use for data visibility needs
- Generate data infrastructure diagrams and maintain an understanding of business processes, KPIs, and reporting definitions used by marketing, sales, and business operations
- Support ad hoc needs to extract, transform, and load data sets in existing tools and systems
- Assist data quality initiatives by engineering solutions to enforce data accuracy and governance policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study (Required)
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree in relevant field of study (Required)
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
- 2-4 Years’ Experience in scripting languages (like SQL or Python) and in extraction, transformation, and loading of large data sets (Required)
- 2-4 Years’ Experience working with cloud-based data technologies such as Google Big Query, Redshift, or Snowflake (Required)
- Experience with ETL tools (Matillion) and dbt (data build tool) (Preferred)
- Experience with Segment (CDPs), Google Suite (web data), Marketing
- Automation (Marketo), and CRM (Salesforce) (Preferred)
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, or Looker (Preferred)
- Experience in a fast paced, customer centric, and iterative environment (Preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate updates on progress and timelines
- Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams in a results-driven culture
