Coupa Software, Inc. seeks Data Scientist in Ann Arbor, MI. Duties: Implement Machine Learning algorithms in Python/PySpark/R to solve Root Cause Prediction & Demand Forecasting problems for Supply Chains / Business Spend Management Perform Data Engineering tasks such as Data Pre-processing, Data Transformation, Read/Write data from/to SQL databases. Write automated tests and support testing end-to-end workflows and individual components, in general. Collaborate with team members, participate in brainstorming sessions, and present work/findings within the team and with other teams such as Product Management and Development. Train consultants / colleagues on product usage and assist them during various customer projects. Help with product documentation. Telecommuting permitted. Requires a Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or Industrial Engineering, plus 1 year of experience in related roles.

Requires 1 years of experience with all of the following:

• Programming in Python
• Ability to work with/query SQL databases
• Ability to do Machine Learning modeling (Random Forest, SVM, K-Means, KNN, Light GBM, Deep Learning) for Regression, Classification, Clustering and Time Series types of problems
• Data Preprocessing, Feature Engineering, Feature Selection, and Cross Validation
• Big data processing framework such as Spark
• A version control system such as Git
• Building automated tests using Jenkins
• Using development enabling tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Working in the domain of Supply Chain
