The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to lead on helping the team to understand and use our data to make strategic business decisions.
Our business produces a whole world of opportunity when it comes to data - now we just need you to help give it some meaning, identify trends and discover the stories behind that data. The important work you do will help to support the rest of the team to identify business opportunities and risks, as well as play a key part in influencing important decisions. Most importantly, your contribution will enable us to keep our wonderful customers, who are at the core of everything we do, happy. Because we are an established and successful technology company we have 10 years worth of data and users from more than 15,000 businesses logging in daily - meaning that the data you are analyzing is at a scale which can be used to derive meaningful and statistically significant insights.

Location
Currently, most of the team are working from home full-time. We have reopened our Manchester HQ for those who would like to use it. Longer term, everyone on the team will be able to find a balance of office and remote work that’s right for them.

Working with us

• Analytical mindset coupled with great communication skills in order to work with both technical teams and business users
• Proactiveness with the ability to learn quickly
• Curious nature, asking lots of questions
• Exceptional at problem-solving and excellent attention to detail
• Eagerness to analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
• Ability to recognize and adopt best practices when it comes to reporting and analysis
• Experienced in A/B testing and segmentation
• Confident building models and analyzing data using a programming language such as R or Python
• Experience with SQL (specifically MySQL and Snowflake) and data visualization programs, Tableau would be a bonus
• Hold a degree in either a quantitative or computational field
• Positive outlook with a “can-do” approach to things
