What you’ll do

You will design and implement the architecture for single-source data to enable Analytics and Reporting capabilities by taking full ownership from the idea generation, requirement gathering, and successful implementation

• Gather requirements by using a structured approach 

• Design dimensional data models that are easy and fast to query

• Create efficient and scalable data pipelines by using our data transformation tool

• Implement actionable data quality checks and detailed documentation of data models

• Ensure compliance and security requirements are fulfilled

• Expose data models using existing BI solutions to enable performant and intuitive data exploration and analysis

• Take responsibility to optimize the data pipelines/flows between data sources and data consumers 

• Act as an enablement team by setting standards, exchange knowledge and best-practises so that Analysts can develop their own data models

• Mentor Data Analysts who want to grow into an Analytics Engineer position

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of experience in building DWH, creating code-based ELT/ETL and BI developments 

• Strong data modeling and analytical skills with a background in statistics, information technology or computer science.

• Excellent coding skills in relevant languages and ecosystems (SQL, Python, Spark)

• Experience with cloud Data Warehouse (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) and BI solutions (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and orchestration solution (Airflow) 

• Experience with agile methodologies in a professional development environment (CI/CD)

• Data quality and monitoring of best practice

• A strong understanding of key SAAS business metrics.

• Strong communication skills
