Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and increase automation of the complex data flow to enable rapid experimentation in a nimble engineering organization
• Support to implement the business logic to be compatible with real-time/stream processing frameworks
• Implement anomaly detection techniques for data quality to surface metric shifts on datasets with dozens of dimensions
• Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain advanced data pipeline applications for complex, extensible, and highly scalable cloud-based data platforms

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data and software engineering experience
• Experience with the development of large-scale and complex data architectures
• Experience with distributed data processing at scale (e.g. Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery)
• Experience handling large data sets using data manipulation languages (e.g. SQL)
• Programming experience manipulating and analyzing data (e.g. Python, Java, Golang)
• Experience with GCP services

Nice To Have:

• Familiarity with data visualization technologies (e.g. Data Studio, Looker)
• Familiarity with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform)
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
