Tiger Analytics is looking for experienced Data Analysts to join our fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for multiple Fortune 500 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Position Overview:

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (Bureau) regulations require lenders to ensure that the issued billing statements and any tax information (to get federal tax benefits) shared with student loan customers are accurate. The Student Loans division and the candidates working for this team would work on redressing the impacted customers. This would be done through investigation, remediation, and execution for redressal.

Responsibilities:

  • Work through multiple data files (Excel or otherwise) to ensure the accuracy of the captured information - rates, balances, loan agreements, file name, extracted data from company database, and other supporting files/customer data etc.
  • Enter data, fill out new data templates based on already collected data to create case packages
  • Create, maintain, and modify documentation for the followed processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, accounting or engineering
  • 1-3 years of professional experience as Data analyst – data entering, data validation, working with Excel data files (pivots, vlookups etc.)
  • 1-2 years of experience in writing SQL queries
  • Experience with documentation of operational process is desired but not mandatory
