As our Finance & Strategy Data Analyst, you will be embedded into the Finance organization, working with and supporting the FP&A and corporate development teams on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a solid foundation in data science and experience in traditional finance and/or crypto markets. You are not only strong in execution and delivery, but also comfortable in strategy and planning. 

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation of M&A opportunities through conducting data analytics and due diligence 
  • Define and track key operational and financial metrics
  • Assist FP&A Team with board & investor requests
  • Collaborate with FP&A team for rollout of a planning tool/EPM
  • Build dashboards, reports, and predictive models in BI & EPM tools
  • Create and maintain management reporting dashboard with customer segmentation
  • Ensure organization-wide data quality through actively maintaining a data inventory with the source of truth
  • Support strategic initiatives through conducting data modeling and analysis 

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or capital markets
  • Experience with NetSuite and EPM/planning tools (Adaptive Planning, Solution, 7, etc.)
  • Have one of the following: a degree in Computer Science or related discipline, certificate of completion of a Software Engineering or Data Science Bootcamp, or one year minimum Data Science/Coding experience
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of SQL & Python; and preferably experience with using python libraries numpy, pandas, matplotlib, and seaborn
  • Familiar with at least one BI tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Experience manipulating large data sets in a distributed computing environment
  • A passion for Emerging Technologies related to Blockchain, Machine Learning, and AI
  • A desire and ability to think abstractly, solve problems and deal with ambiguity
  • Familiarity with Cryptocurrencies, Defi, Staking, and/or NFTs a plus
