This position is 100% remote, based in Mexico, and will report to the Analytics Manager.

As an Analytics Engineer you will... 

•  Translate business requirements into data strategies 
• Work closely with tech, data science and product colleagues to understand and architect the underlying analytics structures available in Looker 
• Work closely with data engineers to design and maintain the data warehouse and it’s integration with Looker
• Raise the quality of data in our system, including improving our analytics infrastructure and modeling 
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production and data issues
• Support areas across the organization to fulfill their data needs
• Build dashboards and expand Tribal’s data capability across all functional teams 
•  Diagnose issues on the fly and provide guidance with metrics and visualizations 
• Understand business requirements, document, and develop plans for process and tools improvements 
• Educate end users about Looker best practices for analyzing data 

Who You Are

•  3+ years in Data/BI related positions working with BI tools: Domo, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Experience working with Looker; developing LookML models , Looker Dashboards and dynamic content with liquid is a plus!
• Experience in designing and implementing best-in-class data warehousing and reporting solutions
• You’ve built and maintained the organization's primary BI tool and been the driving force behind adoption and effective use of it within teams. 
• Advanced knowledge of SQL & experience working with programming languages: Python, R.
• Familiar with ETL tools 
• Experienced in working collaboratively across different teams and departments, such as Product, Sales, Customer Success, etc.  
• Fluent in English and Spanish required
