Contributing Machine Learning Engineer, India Team

Who We Are Looking For:

The ML solutions team is responsible for delivering machine learning solutions in the supply and demand space for verticals such as Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences etc. This includes problems in the space of forecasting, optimization, replenishment, explainability, and more. Our team enjoys breaking down complex business problems into technical requirements, doing the research to come up with effective solutions and implement the new features into the product.

We are looking for passionate machine learning developers to join our talented team and help us build products that leverage machine learning to solve real world business problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field with focus in machine learning.
• Strong software engineering skills and understanding of the ML lifecycle with a minimum of 2 year experience in ML enterprise software development.
• Proficiency in Python and design patterns
• Fluent in processing data (e.g. querying, transforming, joining, cleaning, etc.) including experience debugging logic.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and relational data with experience writing, debugging and optimizing ML data structures, pipelines and transformations, with Python/Pandas/SQL and various ML Libs in distributed computing environments.
• Ability to work in Linux environments with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) in the cloud.
• Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, and adaptable in a fast paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to describe results of analyses in a clear and effective manner

Nice to have:

• Retail business background.
• Experience with big data technologies such as PySpark and Hadoop
• Experience working with major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
• Machine learning dev-ops experience with major cloud providers (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform)
• Shipping ML solutions and supporting them in production
