As part of Boohoo’s central Business Intelligence team, you’ll be working consultatively with a large base of stakeholders, including buying, merchandising, intake & finance, across multiple brands to provide clear and engaging dashboards and reports across a range of business areas.
You’ll be involved in developing reporting and self-service solutions using QlikSense, Google BigQuery and other technologies.
You will be working directly under the BI Manager and alongside a growing team of BI Developers.
The role is a hybrid office/home position and we, as a BI team, provide weekend on-call to the business on a voluntary, rota basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI professional to join and have a substantial impact in a dynamic and growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Create and maintain insightful and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Qlik
- Engage with our stakeholders to understand their objectives and providing solutions for how to best meet their needs
- Work closely with our central data engineering team to communicate issues/minor amendments with our data warehouse
- Attend daily stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders to prioritise the team’s workload
- Deliver end-user training on BI tools across the relevant departments
- Action BI ServiceDesk tickets (including ad-hoc data requests and new BI access requests)

More about you
Essential:
- Hold a relevant/complementary degree/FE qualification, or relevant experience in similar role
- Solid SQL skills working with large and complex datasets (preferably with some exposure to GCP/BigQuery)
- Experience with one or more BI Visualisation tools (preferably QlikSense or Power BI)
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders
- Confident in presenting to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Team player who is able to work with multiple business functions
- Self-motivated and ambitious individual who excels in challenging environments
- Exposure to Agile/Project Management methodologies
Preferred:
- Commercial wholesale/retail experience
- Exposure to dimensional modelling & delivering front end BI data
- Understanding and exposure to ETL & Data Warehousing concepts
- Technical certifications (across SQL & Qlik)
- Project Management Certifications (e.g. Prince2)
- Exposure to Qlik NPrinting
