Informatica Data Engineer

We focus on harnessing actionable insights from data for pharma, providers, and payers. We develop predictive models based on real-world data and deploy them for patients and clinicians using solutions, such as mobile apps, electronic medical records, or integrated web apps.
We are looking for a IICS ETL Data Engineer on our Real-World Data team.

What you will do:

• Port complex ETL routines written in SQL to Informatica
• Develop ETL mappings and processes for deidentifying all PHI and PII information through IICS ETLs.
• Create ETL Framework and Auditing Data model to support all Audit and ETL Control tables etc. for ETL audit reporting purposes.
• Lead conversations with client data partners to onboard new systems and understanding their environment and how to propose basic setup of IICS.
• Work closely with DBA team, data partners, and data science team to make sure data is properly loaded in expected format etc.
• Oversee the automation of pre-defined QC queries
• Oversee the implementation of ETL automation. Identify, Define, and Implement automation of master tasklfows with proper dependencies and error handling.
• Perform thorough UNIT testing of the ETL code to reduce iterations between DEV to QA etc…

What you will need:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Master’s in computer science is a nice to have
• Minimum 5 years of Informatica Cloud work experience or equivalent
• Excellent hands-on experience on SQL Queries
• Hands on experience on converting SQL Queries to IICS ETL Jobs 
• Informatica Cloud Architecture – How is data secured and IICS Processing
• IICS Secure Agent / Run Time Environment setup and configuration
• Security model for user’s access restrictions
• Overall performance tuning and informatica best practices

Preferably you will also have:
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and healthcare data standards (NDC, CPT, HCPCS, ICD10, HL7 etc…)
• Knowledge of Data Obfuscation to deidentify PHI and PII information.
• Knowledge of PostGRES SQL
• Linux Scripting
• IICS Certifications
