About the job

This position is needed to bring quantitative sales data to life by identifying trends and developing meaningful recommendations.  Twilio is seeking a creative, and high-integrity Senior Analyst to join our Core Analytics team on GTM Strategy & Analytics, (GTMSA)! GTMSA provides strategic and analytical support for Twilio’s Sales Leadership and COO. The role will collaborate with Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, Data Engineering and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Act as a consultant helping Twilio to clarify fast-moving strategic priorities and tackle operational challenges
  • Use technical tools and data for trends and patterns to influence decisions for the sales team
  • Bring strong curiosity, data analysis expertise & experience working with multi-functional teams to influence leadership
  • Work cross-functionally to build and communicate key insights, and collaborate closely with a variety of business owners.
  • Synthesize customer data to perform root cause analysis.
  • Align quantitative proof points with qualitative issues with marketing and sales pipeline across regions.
  • Develop an intimate understanding of sales strategy, organizational structure, our leadership and their objectives and concerns.
  • Act as an enabling business partner to increase overall sales.

Required:

  • At least four years of experience, preferably in business analytics, statistics, or finance
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, BI reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
  • Fluency in at least one coding language (Python, R, Java etc.)
  • Experience shifting directions quickly when priorities change, thinking through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against tight deadlines

Desired:

  • Track record of performing with high attention to detail and commitment to quality in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Location 

This role will be remotely based on the East Coast, USA.

Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $90,320.00 - $112,900.00.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
