Role SummaryBetter Collective US is seeking a motivated contributor with superior analytical, critical thinking and quantitative skills to join our growing team as Data Analyst, Commercial Analytics. In this role you will serve as a strategic business partner to the US Commercial team, providing best-in-class insights and analysis to propel business operations, support business development, maximize revenue growth and solidify the company’s market-leading position in an accelerating industry. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Analytics, you will collaborate with business vertical leaders across the Better Collective US portfolio and various team members to quantify and optimize performance KPIs, create, build and scale data solutions and guide revenue planning and strategic growth initiatives. Success in this role is highly dependent on the ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks and achieve effective results in a high energy, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to understand key drivers of business performance, inform business strategy and influence operational decision-making
- Create and maintain reporting processes visible to group-wide teams and align results with performance forecasts
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify and measure KPIs to increase operational efficiency
- Gather data from a variety of sources using a variety of processes and draw actionable insights
- Provide regular updates on performance, risks & opportunities to management
- Streamline processes and improve speed and quality of reporting via automationDevelop and lead a talented team of analysts and managers
- Present learnings and recommendations to cross-functional colleagues and executive leadership
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to understand changes in key metrics
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience solving challenging, high-impact problems with data
- Prior experience with Tableau, SQL and some experience with Python/R or other statistical programming language
- Experience working with large sets of data
- Previous work in Digital Marketing or SEO a plus
- A BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics
- Strong ability to tell stories with data to audiences diverse in level, background, and level of technical expertise
- Experience working in and contributing to a diverse and talented teamInherent curiosity and passion for the sports betting industry
- Exceptional partner management skills, including experience collaborating across multiple offices with distributed teams
