This role involves developing and implementing strategies for data gathering, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders.
As an Associate Director of Business Intelligence, your role would involve overseeing the development and implementation of strategies for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights and support decision-making within an organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the business intelligence team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
- Develop and implement strategies for data gathering, storage, and processing to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and develop analytical solutions to address them.
- Design and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key metrics and trends for decision-makers.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on data insights to support business objectives and drive growth.
- Oversee the development and deployment of business intelligence tools and technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business intelligence initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Lead calls with senior, C-Suite stakeholders, guiding them through dashboard and insights.
- Supporting stakeholders and maintaining relationships in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and accessibility of the data and overall BI solutions being implemented and maintained.
- Perform data quality checks and data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision making.
- Communicate complex data findings and solutions to various audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage a team of BI analysts, providing guidance, feedback, coaching and career development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years +) in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with a track record of delivering actionable insights to support business objectives.
- Experience in BI supporting sales organizations would be preferred – understanding the sales management process and working with sales leaders.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of analysts.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of business processes and operations, with the ability to understand and address business challenges through data-driven solutions.
- Experience working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
Compensation:
