Position Overview

Be on the leading edge of applying machine learning and data modeling to the world of advanced cyber security – as part of the data science engineering team, you will directly impact the product by developing core algorithms to model complex problems. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work with product management and security research to define detection priorities
  • Help continue to grow the team through interviewing and hiring
  • Mentor and grow team members both technically and non-technically
  • Ensure delivery of detection models using statistical or machine learning approaches

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of technical management experience, mentorship, or project management
  • 3+ years of professional data science/machine learning experience
  • Successfully applied machine learning, statistical methods, data mining to real world problems
    • Experience designing and implementing these methods into production or released them to customers
  • Python experience

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong math/statistics/machine learning background
  • Familiarity with systems that make use of multiple machine learning and statistical methods at the same time, ensemble learning
  • Strong communicator
  • Team player
