Business Analyst (Data Operations)

We are looking for a Business Analyst on our Real-World Data team, working to ingest, map, and normalize EHR data from client partners.

We are looking for a Business Analyst on our Real-World Data team, working to ingest, map, and normalize EHR data from client partners.
What you will do:
- Manage projects to connect with client partners to receive and ingest Real-World clinical data from electronic health records (EHR), assist partners with the deidentification of this data, analyze and map data to the Holmusk normalized data model for use in the NeuroBlu platform and other internal applications
- Conduct data field and code mapping
- Perform data validation
- Create source-to-target mapping specifications, technical requirements and reports, coordinate technical specifications with data and systems engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate data insights for business development
- Conduct current and future state analysis for data exchange and systems integration using best practices
- Develop and maintain system protocols and procedures, technical user guides and use cases supporting quality assurance activities
- Leverage appropriate approaches and modeling techniques to gather requirements, document according to corporate standards and procedures and prioritize for assigned areas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Informatics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Healthcare field
- Some experience (formal or informal) in data analysis
- Working knowledge and, preferably, some experience with SQL and version control (git preferred)
- Experience with Electronic Health Records, clinical data, or related data analysis
- Excellent communication skills, able to present insights to technical and/or non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and relationship skills, and a strong team player
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Interest and/or experience in behavioral health
