Job Title: Data Scientist, Video Games

Job Summary: This role will apply statistical theory and methods to collect, interpret, and summarize data as well as make predictions and recommend actions based on data.

What you’ll do

  • Conducts statistical analyses to develop strategies, monitor performance, and validate or inform game design.
  • Builds predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
  • Identifies problems and proposes solutions and strategies to business challenges.
  • Presents information using data visualization techniques. Documents all processes and research.
  • Help design and build data models which will enable us to collect and utilize data reported from numerous sources.
  • Work with designers to identify systems and mechanics which may be improved, using data to help support your findings.         

What you’ll bring

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Expertise with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS) required.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools, data frameworks, and building ETL processes.
  • Experience with data visualization through Looker, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience with querying massive data sets via cloud data platforms (DataBricks, Redshift, Snowflake) .
  • Background in data mining and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong math skills with problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Base salary range: 120000.00 - 180000.00 $. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely.
