Data Science Team Lead

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with leadership skills to research and develop state of the art algorithms that power our Amobee Intelligence platform - a Big Data / AI platform that helps the world’s largest brands make better decisions by understanding what matters to their audiences. As a Data Science Team Lead, you’ll lead complex projects that involve NLP, Semantic & Sentiment Analysis, Clustering & Audience Modeling. You will research new opportunities and use state of the art technologies to develop machine learning solutions from ideation to full production code. You will have the opportunity to participate in research machine learning competitions (https://arxiv.org/abs/1808.08782, https://aclanthology.org/2020.semeval-1.127/) and create patents! (https://patents.google.com/patent/US20210201154A1/) 

Required Qualifications:

• M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Computer Science or any relevant field.
• 8+ years experience as a Data Scientist.
• 2+ years of managerial experience. 
• Proven experience with one compiled language. 
• Solid understanding of CS basics such as algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with NLP methods and models. 
• Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras etc.
• Experience with Big Data systems such as Spark, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Language models, HuggingFace Transformers, etc.
• Familiarity with Clojure or other Lisp languages.
