TechFlow, Inc. is hiring a Data Architect who will build a system and tools for the aggregation, standardization, correlation, and exploitation of technical data. The Data Architect will manage an AWS cloud service that will support Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) data science operations with a user interface. The Data Architect will also conduct technical outreach, information exchange, and technical support services for a mission-impact focused office.


Responsibilities


  • Build a data exploitation platform for technical data utilizing AWS cloud services.
  • Aggregate various data collections.
  • Make all data available, via search, to the exploitation team.
  • Control data access in line with security requirements.
  • Develop a common data format and align all data to that format.
  • Ensure that the system is in line with all security requirements and accreditations.
  • Develop advanced analytic tools and techniques to support the understanding of the data.
  • Assess and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Develop and apply data exploitation models and devise creative data exploitation strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to determine requirements, analyze problems, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations and options.
  • Advise stakeholders on IT methods and data needed or available to satisfy requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive software applications to exploit data and present the results in a stakeholder-friendly format.
  • Integrate, analyze, evaluate, and assess quantitative data, using statistical software, computer models, geospatial models, software languages, mathematical models, or machine learning, to contribute to or develop IT solutions to requirements such as software tools, analytic models, or reports.
  • Prepare and communicate the workings and results of computational models and tools.

Requirements


  • Experience architecting and building end-to-end solutions for technical data
  • Experience designing and building accredited cloud systems and cloud solutions
  • Experience identifying relevant technical data
  • Experience designing and building data models of technical data in line with existing data standards
  • Experience exploiting large collections of technical data
  • Experience ETLing data into common data models utilizing common data engineering services
  • Experience building connections across technical data sets
  • Experience utilizing enterprise APIs
  • Experience building applications for the exploitation of technical data
  • Experience developing analytic platforms
  • Experience building user interfaces for analytic platforms
  • Experience building and maintaining databases
  • Experience controlling access to data items according to enterprise security models
  • Experience using Python
  • Experience storing, searching, and retrieving large amounts of data
  • Experience manipulating large collections of data using Python
  • Experience exploiting data that is not in the English language
  • Experience developing machine learning models on text data and structured datasets
  • Active TS SCI with polygraph


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in line with national security priorities
  • Experience connecting existing technology services and platforms
  • Experience documenting code
  • Experience integrating data from multiple holdings for use in operational support efforts and analysis
  • Experience using task tracking and version control tools, such as GitHub and JIRA
  • Experience creating AI and ML models and natural language processing (NLP) models
