As a leader on the Data Science team and initially reporting to the Vice President of Product, the Director of Data Science and Analytics will partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Marketers, Commercial Strategists, and other key stakeholders to use data to better understand Jasper Members and Enterprise Customers. You will have an opportunity to directly influence our Enterprise and Consumer product roadmaps and work closely with leaders across the company to shape the future of Jasper Health.

Role and Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Marketers, Commercial Strategists and other key stakeholders to use data to better understand Jasper Members and Enterprise Customers
• Architect and build data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines to help collect, organize, and operationalize Jasper’s data
• Perform funnel analysis, conversion analysis, impact sizing to support data-driven decision-making across the growing and fast-paced organization 
• Lead metrics development to summarize key user behaviors that drive strong business outcomes
• Work closely with clinical data and Jasper’s clinical teams to analyze and improve Jasper’s clinical impact and ROI
• Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Looker to monitor product performance and communicate value to enterprise customers 
• Use experimentation such as A/B testing to drive product engagement while improving Member experience and quantify the impact of new product feature
• Recommend opportunities to achieve growth and efficiencies aligned with product and commercial strategy objectives
• Promote a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, and knowledge sharing

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum requirement Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or other quantitative fields (or extensive work experience in quantitative roles). Master or PhD in relevant field preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• 6-10 years data science experience 
• 2+ years in directly managing a team is a plus
• Extensive experience exceeding expectations in regard to KPIs and OKRs
• Significant experience working in fast growing teams with complex interdependencies
• Experience working on both B2B and B2C products
• Significant experience working in fast growing teams with complex interdependencies
• Experience architecting and building data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines at scale
• Experience leading metrics development to summarize key user behaviors
• Well-versed in experimentation, including designing, analyzing, and scaling A/B tests
• Ability to translate and present complex analysis in executive summaries
• Excellent communication skills, specifically data visualization and storytelling
• Product analytics experience
• ETL experience is a plus

Compensation

• Salary compensation starts at $150K
