Title: Senior Data Engineer

Duties: The Senior Data Engineer (multiple positions available) at Chime Financial, Inc. in San Francisco, California will serve on the Data Engineering Team that will build a scalable ETL data pipeline that caters to the data plumbing needs of Chime. Perform as a hands-on data engineer, building, scaling and optimizing ETL pipelines; and design data warehouse schemas and scale data warehouse to process data for 10x data growth. Own the ETL workflows and make sure the pipeline meets data quality and availability requirements; work closely with partner teams, like Data Science, Analytics and DevOps; and utilize experience ingesting and transforming data from or into star schema or flat data models, when performing the above duties. 

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a directly related field, plus 5 years of experience developing and building data pipelines.  The five years of experience must include two years of experience with each of the following: (1) designing, developing and monitoring ETL pipeline; (2) Programming in Python and Java; (3) Data warehouse architecture; and (4) Writing SQL.
