Meet the team:

Autonomy Production is responsible for the development and management of Argo's simulation dataset, triaging and reporting on changes in the AVs software. Data collected during our testing and on-road operations offer tremendous value to our engineering teams and machine learning algorithms in an effort to improve our system with every challenging scenario we face.  We are looking for a motivated Support Associate who is excited about the self-driving space to analyze these large datasets, evaluate autonomous vehicle behavior and classify and report issues to the appropriate departments and teams.

What you’ll do: 

• Evaluate vehicle test data utilizing a variety of logs and tools
• Understand the context of an issue by examining sensor data (lidar, radar, etc.,) and visualizations from autonomy stack ( e.g. planned path, etc.,)
• Document the context (what is happening) and identify possible cause (why is it happening, which module is responsible) of an issue
• Work in an operational but fast-paced environment emphasizing your attention to detail and ability to document issues well
• Work closely with senior engineers to learn the system (autonomous system functionality, subsystem behavior, error messages, etc.,)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in a software/IT or engineering environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess the cause, impact, and severity of issues
• Strong attention to detail with repetitive tasks
• Strong communication skills to work with other team members
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
• Interest and desire to work in the autonomous vehicle industry
