About the Role: 

  • Lead the development of our Ride Assignment, Routing & Rebalancing algorithms
  • Improve the efficacy of our existing Dynamic Pricing Algorithm
  • Improve our capabilities around estimating travel times and offer wait times
  • Guide high level strategic decisions like Fleet and Zone expansion
  • Define and track key metrics to demonstrate the efficacy of our toolkit.

 

What you’ll need:

  • A Masters or PhD in fields like Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience building optimization algorithms in the Transportation/ Logistics space.
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques like Mixed Integer and Dynamic Programming
  • Knowledge of algorithms like Dijkstra, Tabu Search, Ant Colony etc.
  • Experience with writing production level code and working closely with Engineering teams
  • Experience with analyzing large spatial datasets
  • Proficiency in one of Python, Julia, C++ or Go
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Kubernetes is a plus
  • Knowledge of clustering and classification ML models is a plus.
