What will you do:

• As a Data Scientist, you’ll be joining a cross-functional team of other Data Scientists and Data Engineers. You will be focussing on deriving and delivering insights that generate real impact on business performance.  
• At Coda, you will be working with datasets of hundreds of millions of transactions processed across hundreds of different payment channels, such as e-wallets, credit cards, direct carrier billing and over the counter by gamers and digital content consumers in more than 45 countries around the world. 
• You will be working closely with the Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance and Business Development teams to apply statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns from complex datasets with billions of records.

What we expect from you:

• We are keen to talk to you if you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, and if you have a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or Economics.  Along with your strong experience in the industry or in academia we would like to see as many of the following as possible in your resume: 
• Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling 
• Experience working with advanced algorithms and/or advanced analytical problem solving
• Hands on experience in coding with Python
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Experience conducting independent research to deconstruct analytical problems and identify solutions 
• Preferably, prior experience in working with cross-functional teams 
• Preferably, experience with NLP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative, curious and team-oriented mindset 
• We will expect experienced professionals to be proficient in most of the above-mentioned requirements.
