What you will be doing

• Design and develop data structures to support reporting
• Maintain version control and history of changes required with dbt and github
• Build productive partnerships with teams across BazaarVoice
• Support enterprise data governance policies, processes, & tools
• Support enterprise data dictionary to ensure consistency across the business
• Establish and manage data migrations metrics to monitor job processing times
• Develop, implement, and continually support new and existing data pipelines and system/software integrations.
• Organize, maintain, and monitor existing data processes to ensure the Snowflake Data Lake has a high level of data quality and availability.
• Architect and manage accessible data schemes for internal and external users.
• Build technical documentation and data maps pertaining to the Data Lake.

Necessary skills and experience

• 5+ years' experience designing and building BI solutions
• 5+ years of experience with relational structures, structured query language (SQL), data warehouse and reporting techniques
• 5+ years developing data warehouse solutions to include DDL creation, source to target mapping, hands on ETL/ELT experience, and working knowledge relational data warehouse modeling to include data lake, star and snowflake schemas
• Snowflake Experience
• dbt Experience (Preferred)
• FiveTran Experience (Preferred)
• Snowflake Administration (preferred)
• Ability to summarize analysis into actionable recommendations
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment
• Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes, and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards
• Experience with data related to mainstream SaaS business technology systems (Salesforce,  Netsuite, OpenAir, Jira, etc).
• Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Management, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
