The French office is in charge of building AI algorithms for FarmWise robots and a data platform for farmers. You will be part of a growing team of highly motivated engineers passionate about AgTech . You will have the opportunity to travel to California to familiarize yourself with the US agriculture ecosystem.

About the Work

  • Design and maintain data analytics pipelines transforming and uploading raw data to our farmer facing interface
  • Develop accuracy metrics to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and implement readable, maintainable and efficient production-ready code in Python
  • Maintain and improve our MLOps pipeline from dataset creation to models deployment and monitoring
  • Analyze data to turn terabytes of Ag data into actionable insights for farmers
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on raw data
  • Find correlations between our data and other sources of information (weather, soil sensors, satellite images, ...)
  • Build predictive models for farmers

  • Beyond this set of responsibilities, you will be exposed to a broad variety of other challenges as they arise and you will need to discuss, brainstorm and work closely with backend engineers and robotic software engineers.

About You

  • About to finish your studies in software engineering, computer science, applied mathematics or related field
  • Have worked on projects in data engineering, data science, or a related field
  • You are an independent problem solver who loves to tackle hard engineering challenges
  • Proficient in Python in a production environment
  • Experience with software development best practices: code reviews, version control, and testing
  • Experience with Linux development environments
  • End-to-end experience with data, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization
  • Experience with databases (SQL)
  • A good understanding of modern machine learning algorithms, statistical models, or optimization
  • Willingness to learn and expand your skills beyond your zone of comfort 
  • Experience with computer vision or hardware generated data is a plus
