Wayfair is embarking on a strategic initiative to optimize its EU Operation to deliver better experiences to our customers. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing logistics teams! The successful candidate will be part of the European Warehouse & Distribution Team reporting directly to site leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Translate high-level business strategy into reporting, dashboard, and data needs
  • Partner with various business stakeholders to identify key factors and requirements for each project, and get buy-in for project approach
  • Conceptualize and build easy-to-use data products to support deep dives which identify drivers for business trends
  • Quantify the impact of projects on key KPIs
  • Present data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive business strategy
  • Explain complex technical concepts in leadership-facing, easy-to-digest language and visuals   

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in German and English, required
  • Have 2+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role
  • 1 - 2 years of experience with cloud data management, SQL and Google BigQuery
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field; MBA a plus  
  • Knowledge of leading trends and best practices in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization
  • Hands on experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Data Studio
  • Extensive experience synthesizing insights using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Passionate about solving complex business problems
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
  • Able to understand a highly interconnected technical and strategic landscape
  • Experience working with incentive plan metrics a plus
