Data Scientist

This position on the Data Science team is responsible for prototyping and developing data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches that support customer-facing products and improve analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•      Develop data science approaches that leverage statistical and machine learning algorithms.
•      Perform feature engineering from large, complex datasets.
•    Track model performance.
•     Work with data engineers and developers to launch successful prototypes into production.

Requirements

•      Experienced programming capability in Python.
•      SQL / Database experience is required.
•     Knowledge data science platform architecture, especially cloud solutions (e.g., AWS).
•     Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple groups within the organisation.
•      Experience with advanced analytics, data science, and/or mathematical modelling.
•     Experience with recommender frameworks and natural language processing desired.
