Lead BI Analyst

We are looking for a BI Lead Analyst who will manage the BI team and prioritize projects and will oversee the technical execution of BI projects encompassing research, design and implementation of data platforms, data pipelines, data models, reports/dashboards and data-driven applications. You will design and implement processes to mitigate data quality issues. As a leader you find it rewarding to mentor and bring out the best in a talented team of ETL, QA, Reporting, data Analysts and Data Visualization engineers. And as a good collaborator you will work closely with the other development teams within the organization to plan, coordinate, and deliver according to a high-level data roadmap.

What will you do?

• Develop dashboards, customized reports and scorecards based on business requirements
• Collaborate with the rest of the team members to gather requirements from business and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build compelling story, new product features and actionable insights using Data
• Manage ad hoc analytic requests for OLTP and OLAP systems in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Responsible for reviewing and optimization of SQL queries and investigating database performance issues.
• Support Predictive Modeling, Forecasting and mentor young team consisting of data engineers, data visualization experts and data analytics professionals.
• Becoming the domain champion of the product/function with a clear data-driven understanding of how our users interact with our product.
• Facilitate review sessions with management, business users and other team members

What we look for?

• Understanding of disciplined approach towards Data Visualization and Reporting with at least one major BI/Reporting Application(Quicksight/Tableau/PowerBI).
• Extensive experience with SQL databases and data architecture
• Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling; star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models, handling - slow-changing- dimensions/attributes.
• Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with our BIG Data Technology Stack (SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, S3,Hadoop,Kafka,Apache Spark, Quicksight, Sisense) & Cloud computing.
• Experience with analytics and statistical modelling using R/Python
• Experienced complete lifecycle of at least one data warehouse/Business Intelligence program at Enterprise scale.
• Ability to lead cross-functional team communication and develop cross-functional partnerships.
