ML & Data Science Team Lead (f/m/d)

Data is important to us! In order to make CoachHub even more data-driven we are looking for a Machine Learning & Data Science Team Lead to join our Data and Insights team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Machine Learning engineers and Data Scientists for building new machine learning products and improving the current ones. Also, the team is responsible for making statistical analyses for improving the user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Give your team direction and guidance according to the company strategy and priorities
• Manage a team of ML engineers and Data Scientists, responsible for growth, motivation and hiring
• You establish and manage processes and standards within the team to ensure effective delivery of impactful data products in an agile working mode
• Help build world-class data products. Create a vision and a strategic roadmap of ML & DS within the company.
• Translate business needs into clearly scoped machine learning projects, and take a hands-on approach to steer solution design and implementation
• Provide both technical and organizational leadership

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams in the field of data science, behavioral science, etc., and fostering the individual’s strengths
• Experience running machine learning workloads in production. We use, e.g. Python, FastAPI and Tensorflow running on AWS
• Strong team management skills (mentoring, knowledge transfer and project management, as well as working with agile methods)
• Practical experience in deploying ML Models to the cloud (AWS is a bonus, other cloud providers also work)
• You have experience in applying methods from machine learning, operations research and/or statistics to user behavior data sets
• You have very good English language skills
