About the role:

The Technology Operations team is currently seeking a Analyst Data Integration to join them on a Monday-Friday roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Data & Integration Platforms, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for existing integration between applications at Roy Hill.

The role will also involve completing development, testing, and implementation tasks for new integration interfaces or where enhancements are identified. 

You will strive to understand various operational domains and understand how technology can support the work of the business, along with helping to develop ideas for business process improvement.

Duties:

• Undertake analysis of the business requirements, ensure that interfaces are developed to meet these requirements. 
• Use established methods like workshops, one-on-one interviews, and data analysis to contribute to business & functional requirements collection. 
• Proactively engage key decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals. 
• Ensure that defined solutions promote efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Liaise with project teams and vendors to provide technical assistance as necessary to meet outcomes.  
• Participate in the creation of test plans, execution of testing and validation of test results. 
• Participate with the creation and maintenance of systems and project documentation, user manuals and training material. 
• Provide peer review at design and development stages to assist in quality assurance 

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven professional experience in the IT sector as a developer or engineer
• Experience in extracting and loading data from and to a variety of applications
• Proven experience in iterative development
• Proficiency in SQL and some experience with either Python, Java, or Scala 
• Experience in the creation and execution of test scripts including unit, system, integration and user acceptance test scripts
