Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Identify business questions, apply advanced analytics to answer them, and articulate the answers.
• Partner with teams across divisions such as Commercial, Product, etc to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify challenges in which advanced analytics will have greatest impact, then implement it.
• Perform advanced analytics to generate insights and recommendations to support the business/product in decision making.
• Initiate, drive, and lead cross-functional projects involving advanced analytics.
• Contribute in defining the analytical direction of Mekari.
• Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to solve questions & challenges in Mekari.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building usable machine learning product for end user
• 2+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis within a large-scale company or fast-paced environment, using SQL and Python
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
• Experienced in building usable machine learning model for production
• Experienced in a scalable customer facing ML system
• Experienced on working with multiple cross functional partners and influence decision making based on data
• Familiarity with AWS’ ML environment such as Sagemaker
• Have an excellent communication skill to articulate ml-approach solution to stakeholders across division
