AI Product Lead, Investment Services

What you’ll do

The AI Product Lead will be embedded within the firm’s Investment Services business, responsible for identifying and building potential solutions that leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to deliver productivity improvements and differentiated insights. You will manage a team of AI/ML Researchers and Developers  and partner with Department Heads and stakeholders throughout the firm to identify opportunities, define requirements, prioritize use cases, and deploy and scale AI/ML solutions.

The AI Product Lead will own all aspects of product development and onboarding including resourcing projects, prioritization, testing, and deployment and ongoing, metrics-driven reporting of progress, outcomes, and challenges across initiatives.

As part of the AI/ML community at Point72, Product Leads and their teams will collaborate horizontally with one another and vertically with our AI Platform, Data Teams, and Compliance to define the AI Strategy for the firm including its infrastructure, architecture, models, and data needs.

The AI Product Lead, Investment Services will:

• Partner with Investment Services departments to identify opportunities where AI/ML can potentially deliver outsized productivity gains and/or differentiated insights
• Build and prioritize portfolio of use cases based on certain factors such as ROI, feasibility, & time to market
• Lead small team of AI Researchers and Developers
• Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment
• Track and communicate progress and challenges across AI/ML initiatives
• Partner with other Product Leadsand their teams as well as our Technology, , and Compliance departments to define the Firm’s AI Strategy
• Partner internally to establish rigorous model governance practices, including testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure solutions remain accurate and bias-free
• Stay up to date on AI/ML market landscape, trends, and technological innovations to provide recommendations on new tools and methodologies for adoption

What’s required

• Demonstrated success leveraging AI/ML to drive/improve business outcomes.
• Experience in financial services and product management is a plus.
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience.
• History of attracting and developing AI/ML talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science is highly desirable.

The annual base salary range for this role is $400,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
