Summary

Phoenix-based SRP is recruiting for an intern BI Developer. This developer will perform duties related to the design, build, test and deployment of dashboards and reports in support of Power Generation IT and OT applications. The position will perform data analysis, improve existing processes, and provide fixes to technical issues encountered by users of the team’s applications. 

 

You will work on a team with Senior Developers who share the same commitment to the customer as you do and who will provide mentoring to the college intern. You have strong data analytics and communication skills and embrace collaboration. 

What You'll Do

The position will be expected to: 

 

  • Work closely with our client team to develop dashboards and reports
  • Utilize SQL and Oracle to query data  
  • Create content that delivers exceptional user experience using visualization best practices 
  • Work independently and in a team 
  • Manage team’s incoming requests, perform service management, and knowledge base creation 

Experience

Preferred Knowledge and Skills: 

 

  • Have understanding of relational databases, SQL and Oracle 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies 
  • Experience interfacing with clients to gather requirements 
  • Experience in solution design 
  • Experience using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and SSRS 
  • Experience with supporting and maintaining code in a production environment and helping to maintain a common, integrated technology platform

Education

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution with a minimum of 6 credit hours.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
