Data Engineer

The Position

KAYAK is looking for a Data Engineer to be part one of our Architect team in Berlin. Our team is constantly iterating, designing, and coding our way to excellence. We're building the compelling user experiences that keep our product ahead of the competition. Responsibilities

• Build reliable Python tools for transform, parse, clean, combine, and process data;
  
• Design, implement high-volume data pipelining and orchestration platforms;

Requirements

• 3+ years strong Python programming experience;
  
• Strong SQL knowledge;
  
• Experience in data modeling;

Plus

• 1+ years industry in a data engineering or related role;
  
• Knowledge of Python frameworks/libraries like Django, Flask, Pandas.
